A Message from the President

First of all, I'd like to congratulate all of our members on a job well done this year. The work that was put in by every individual within SGA amounted to an extraordinary year. We had a record number of resolutions come through the Senate, Treasury Board deliberated thoughtfully on each and every presentation they heard, and the Cabinet put on several amazing events this year. We had innovative experiences like our organization-wide training day or when SGA members met with international students to talk about the issues students face on college campuses. Our members were dedicated to serving the student body, and for that, I thank you all so much. You all made me love my job and love working with together for the student body.

A Message from the Vice President
I would like to thank each and every Senator for your hard work and dedication! This year would not have been possible without all of you. I hope you all continue to better the CUA community by staying involved, presenting more legislation, and holding the next administration just as accountable as you have done for us. Help them to be and do the best they so that way you can all continue to succeed together. Tomorrow night will be our last meeting of the semester. We have a few pieces of legislation and will also be voting on next year's Treasury Board and Executive Operating Budget. I will give updates on any pending legislation that are still out. Again, thank you all for an awesome and interesting year. I thoroughly enjoyed working with all of you. We did a lot of great work and I am extremely proud of all the progress that was made.

SGA Spotlight

Sophie Lazicki:
Sophie is current junior and Senator for the School of Nursing. She has worked extremely hard this past year, meeting with her school administrators to plan a Town Hall and to discuss the library changes. She joined SGA to be a more active member of the CUA community and create better relationships with the administration and students. Her favorite part of this past year was getting her Maymester legislation passed. She was very pleased to know both her peers and the Provost were responsive and excited about the idea. "I am happy to have been a part of SGA this past year. It has been a very eye-opening experience and has impacted me in many ways."
